Family estate is being rented one sibling is collecting all the revenue not dividing with other siblings ??
It’s not clear to me if the estate is in probate or ever has been. It is also not clear in what capacity the individual keeping the rent is acting.
You need to contact a probate lawyer near you for some advice
you may need to hire a probate attorney to represent the interest of all other siblings. There are other factors to consider such as has the Will been probate, has the person keeping the rent money been appointed the executor of the estate? Best to explore all of this with an attorney.
More information needs to be provided. But if there was no will or a will has yet to be probated, then the sibling shouldn't be collecting the rent and keeping it for him/herself.
Joint ownership of property in inheritance situations becomes very messy very quickly. It would be wise for you to contact a probate attorney to learn both the rights and responsibilities the siblings have regarding the property.
