My 88 year-old mother tripped over a treadmill in a hospital shortly after a pulmonary test. She broke her shoulder and now needs expensive Specialized Care. The hospital had her sign a liability waiver shortly after her injury while in a hospital bed. Shouldn't they be responsible for her care and expense involved in the required specialized care?
I doubt the waiver will hold up. Your mother should consult a personal injury attorney ASAP. Most give a free initial consultation and change a fee only if they recover money.
