I was always telling the doctor something wasn’t right he ignored me and stated it’s jusr being pregnant
Malpractice claims for OB/GYN are the highest ones in the country. Alot of the reason for this is because, exactly as your doctor stated, there is alot of fear and confusion during pregnancy and the birth of a child. Whether or not you have a valid claim against your OB/GYN depends on whether or not there has been resulting injury and harm to your baby. In other words, is the baby healthy now? A claim would also be determined by what another physician would have done in the same or similar situation. If someone else would have done the same thing then your doctor was just practicing as a reasonably prudent physician and also the same as another that has the same education.
In other words, I'd need to know what you mean by "it was malpractice on my doctor's part". Why was it "malpractice"?
Having said that, doctors should always try to listen to their patients warning and, as professionals, they usually try to. Unfortunately sometimes they don't and harm can occur.
