That is up to the nursing board. Check their regulations. You may be eligible to expunge the record. i do not know if full disclosure if requires but if not the expungement would clear your record.
This has nothing to do with the law and everything to do with the nursing board. However, many employers who stock things like narcotics would be hesitant to hire you with either a drug or theft conviction. Look into expungement if this is your only conviction of any crime or disorderly persons offense.

You need to talk to the nursing board but even with an expungement employers and the board would still see the conviction in many case. I would consider another line of work which would be easier.

If this is your only conviction, then you are probably eligible for an expungement now. New developments in expungement law may qualify you for an expungement five years after completing probation. Then when you apply you should be able to deny prior criminal involvement.
