Kind and Professional Service for VA Reckless Driving Case

I was charged with Reckless Driving on I-81 in Rockbridge Co, VA on my way to see family for Thanksgiving, clocked at 84/70. I was passing what I deemed to be an unsafe truck on the road and a Sherrif’s Deputy pulled me over. Like most folks, I was unaware that driving in excess of 80 MPH is a crimin...al offense in VA, even though it was less than 20 miles over, and I consider myself a safe driver so I was a bit surprised, but the law is the law. I did some research and eventually emailed Rob Dean. He quickly got back to me via email and we spoke on the phone after the holiday. He let me know the policy of this particular court, that they will automatically reduce the charge to a speeding ticket if no other tickets in the last five years are on your record. Unfortunately, I had a ticket from late 2015 in a different state. Still, Rob counseled to get my car calibrated since it is an older model and informed me that if my speedometer showed the correct speed that the car was going, then there was no reason to retain him since I was going to most likely receive the conviction. But, it turns out that my 2007 model was off, and only then did Rob take my case because he knew he could launch a reasonable defense based on the merits of the case. Rob emailed and called with me with all this guidance before I ever paid anything to retain him for my defense in court. After I retained him for a very reasonable fee, he took care of everything, working with the law enforcement officer to get a new court date and communicating with the court on my behalf. My charge was reduced yesterday to a Speeding citation and I paid the fee plus court costs today. This was my first experience hiring an attorney and I very much recommend Rob Dean for anyone in a similar situation.

Excellent Lawyer and Trustworthy Personality

I ran into trouble on July 2nd, just two days before the July 4th. I was so scary and upset. I searched on the internet for a good lawyer who is professional in criminal practices. The first name appeared was Mr. Dean and I decided to send him a message that summarized all details about my troubles. ...He called me back the next day, offered me a consultation and started to work right immediately. I was impressed because he willingly help me on the holiday. He sent me emails and texts to keep my up to date on my case. We also met at his office to discuss solutions, consequences and next steps of the trial process. It was such a nightmare to me because I am so embarrassed about my accusation, but thanks Goddess he was there to share every concern with me, encouraged me to keep me calm and directed me to go on the right way to get the best results. He fought for me at court and he never gives up. My case was dropped and he would help me to get the case expunged. If anyone has misdemeanor charges or even felony charges, do not hesitate to contact Mr. Dean. He offers the best service as well as affordable prices to help his clients get the best results. I trusted him and he saved my future, my life, and my self-esteem.

Attorney Dean Is Exceptional

Attorney Dean is exceptional. We hired him to defend criminal allegations. He was reassuring, realistic, strategic, responded immediately to our questions, and kept us informed every step of the way. The case had an excellent outcome, and the cost was very reasonable. He even assisted with follow...-up questions after the matter was settled. Attorney Dean was an excellent choice!

Reckless Driving Ticket

Like many others posting here, I was charged with reckless driving in Virginia (I-64; 84 mph/70 mph zone). As a Maryland resident, I was unaware of Virginia's strict driving laws and assumed I would simply pay a fine for speeding. Not so! In Virginia, the law provides for a criminal charge agains...t persons driving at more than 20 mph over the speed limit or over 80 mph regardless of how many mph over the speed limit. This is a misdemeanor offense in Virginia, which is the same level of offense as DUI, and it carries a penalty of up to a $2,500 fine and/or 12 months in jail! I only became aware of the severity of the charge once I began receiving a slew of letters from lawyers willing to represent me. After speaking with several, I chose Rob Dean. As a former prosecutor, Mr. Dean has an acute understanding of Virginia's driving laws and is familiar with the members of the Court—specifically the presiding Judge. Fortunately, I had a clean driving record (no points). At my court hearing—which I did not attend—Mr. Dean was able to reduce the misdemeanor offense to a speeding ticket. Thank goodness! I'm grateful to Mr. Dean and I will never drive above the speed limit again. Do not hesitate to hire him to represent you in a reckless driving case.

Reckless driving ticket

Rob Dean helped me reduce my Reckless Driving ticket in Virginia to a speeding infraction. I was helping a friend move back to Texas and didn’t realize the strict laws and penalties in Virginia for going over 80 mph. I was planning on skipping the court date and paying the fine, like most states allo...w. However, once I began receiving letters from attorneys in Virginia, I began researching and realized that not having representation in the court would mean a class C misdemeanor on my record and a large fine. After speaking with a few attorneys and looking through online reviews, it became clear that Rob was the only option I had when factoring in pricing (he has a reasonable flat fee) and overall ratings. When I spoke with him, my mind was at ease because he not only knew the judges by name at the specific court my case was in, but also spoke about his background as a prosecutor. He was transparent throughout the entire process and kept me updated. His office took care of notifying the courts that they would be representing on my behalf. I would recommend him to anyone in a similar situation who isn’t an expert in Virginia law.
