Richard handled my divorce based on a referral from a good friend. My divorce was very contentious, and my ex-wife's attorney was making some wild accusations, and refusing to negotiate on a settlement. Richard was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He kept me informed as needed throu...ghout the process, without wasting my time or his by creating billable hours. My ex-wife had filed for divorce previously, but we reconciled (briefly). My previous lawyer did everything possible to create billable hours. Richard told me what I needed to know, and what to expect, and asked me for more information or input as needed. He was prepared for all the hearings and depositions, and he did a great job of protecting my family and my assets. Richard clearly knew his way around the court as well. He knew all the judges, magistrates, and staff, and was very professional (unlike opposing council). In addition, Richard's staff was great. They clearly understand how difficult divorce is on a family, and on the parties going through the process. I worked with a couple of other lawyers in his office for some aspects of the process, as agreed upon between us, and they were excellent. His Assistant and Paralegal were both very competent and organized.
