Richard knows the WA family law to the tee. He defends you strongly throughout the case. Having said that, I had some negative experiences 1. My first invoice had a double charge which I noticed and had to ask for an adjustment 2. Richard has a tendency to ramble on in phone conversation which is p...articularly concerning since he charges by the hour 3. He has some bias against South asian folks and our practice around marriage/divorce. I understand this maybe based on his experience but as a SE asian I found these hard to swallow 4. I found their spreadsheet to calculate community property a bit rigid and had to do my own calculation to be certain. My case was straightforward i.e. no kids, 1 real estate, 401k and some savings.
