Phil was perfect for my needs. First of all he has an Engineering background. This works well with my invention. Second, he has actually worked in the Patent Office as a patent examiner. This is a big plus, you want someone to have that experience so they can build a solid patent application. And of course, he is a Patent Lawyer. With these three qualifications, you'd think he will cost you an arm and a leg but surprisingly his fees are reasonable. As a person, he is easy to talk to and very accommodating. I highly recommend him and will use him again for my other ideas in the future.

Phil has helped and guided me thru the process of filling my patent paperwork and made it very easy to understand. Even though I live in another state his service level was as if he was next door. Thanks again Phil

Phil was very professional and easy to work with. He first helped me with a very nuanced utility patent where his skills and experience were immediately evident. When the USPTO requested an amendment be made he was actually able to make the patent even more valuable and encompassing while fulfilling their request. Furthermore, when I mentioned in passing that I had competitors trying to circumvent my patent he had immediate and valuable suggestions to further protect my intellectual property.

I called Phil after a recommendation from a friend. He worked so fast to get my patent filed it was kind of unbelievable. He was quick to respond and very professional. Every email was answered within 20 minutes. The first mock up required almost no corrections, and we were filed very quickly over a holiday weekend! I will definitely continue to use Phil for all legal work.

Phil's work on my patent application was exemplary. The document itself was of the highest quality and I appreciated the attention he paid to a number of 'gotchas' that would have never occurred to me. I'll certainly use Phil for any of my future patent applications.

So I am one of the inventors that likes to search for weeks for the perfect anything. I hit several brick walls in my patent attorney search, and I can honestly I ran into a streak of luck with Phil. He is incredibly affordable. He also has decades of experience and the man has experience in a patent office! But all of this aside, I think the best quality his services offer is simplicity. He can tell you simply and in a straight-forward manner, what your best moves are for your patent and the process of patenting an invention. He is the person you need for invention protection.

I went through another firm that charged me crazy rates for sub par work. Phil not only charged me reasonable rates but has repeatedly gone above and beyond the call for my IP needs. I can't say enough about how helpful and forward thinking Phil is. I won't be going anywhere else for my IP needs.

Very few patent attorneys have the experience or the exact eduction of the inventor. The invention by definition is on the leading edge of the technology in the specific field of the invention. I once invented a method of programming micro computers. The patent attorney I picked at random knew absolutely nothing about computers or computer programing. I spent more time educating my patent attorney than the time it would have taken me to learn how to write a patent. The result was a bad patent. A large company made tens of millions of dollars by violating my patent. Bottom line I eventually won the law suite but it took years. I think with a better patent it would not have taken so long. Recently I invented a new ignition system for internal combustion engines. This time I looked for a patent attorney that was ostensible familiar with electronics. I found a young one that claimed a degree in electrical engineering. Obviously he graduated engineering school and went right into law school. Same problem. He asked a lot of dumb questions about basic electronics that he should have known. I was spending time educating a patent attorney again. I got fed up and fired him. Then I found Phil Varga. He immoderately understood my patent and the value of it. He had the patent done in a week and filed. I was amazed. Phil had years of practical experience in electronics as a technician, engine electrical patents. I highly recommend him. Paul
