My H4 EAD is still pending from last 120 days. I am not sure why it is still pending, the only reason I can think of is my H4 is still not approved which was applied back on March, but my spouse H1B got approved back in March itself.
That is correct ... they can not issue the EAD until after the H-4 is approved.
