Pat Quinn is the DUI Guy!

I was charged with OVI (with 2 priors), Refusal, and Speeding. It only took one court appearance and I plead guilty to Speeding, 2 points on my license and the automatic license suspension AND OVI were dismissed. I feel like I have a second chance to make sure this never happens again! Pat Quinn i...s the man!

The Best DUI Attorney There Is!!!!

If you have received a DUI/OVI and are not sure where to turn, contact Patrick Quinn......immediately. I received an OVI at 4:00am on Memorial Day weekend and was due in court a few days later. Not sure where to turn, I started look online and learned that the only thing that most attorneys cared abo...ut was my financial situation if they even called me back at all. Speaking with some friends who had dealt with a similar issue, I was told to contact Patrick and he would have my OVI reduced. I was told that he was not cheap but he would provide the results that I needed. Since I drive for a living, a positive outcome was critical to my career and financial future. I called Patrick on Monday and he took the time to discuss my case and set expectations on what we would be dealing with as well as the cost. He price was reasonable, he was direct and honest and I agreed to move forward with his services. Let me be clear - he provided me with more service and better service than I could have ever expected. He knows everyone in the court system and has a great working relationship with the Judges and Prosecutors. He is highly respected and although he's very smart, he takes the time to help you understand what to expect as you move through the court process. He took every avenue to fight my case which was complex and did not look very promising since I did not perform a breathalyzer. After several court appearances, Patrick was able to have my OVI reduced - thus saving my job and career. If you are ever in need of a DUI/OVI attorney and you are fortunate enough to come across this article - the smartest thing that you can do (other than not drinking and driving) is to contact Patrick. I recommend that you do it quickly since time is of the essence - especially when you are dealing with an OVI. Good luck.

July 2- Continued...

First off, this is the review after the court case was settled. Please refer to "July 2" for my initial review... On August 09, 2015, the court case was handled. I was originally pulled over for no display of front plate and OVI refusal. At Mr. Quinn's advice, I plead guilty to Physical Control (Min...or Misdemeanor) and was sentenced to pay the max fine. No points were assessed and my drivers license was restored. During this time, and after...my employer(s) were threatening suspension and/or termination, Mr Quinn went out of his way to file additional motions on my behalf to help secure my employment. Mr. Quinn was direct, very knowledgeable and effective throughout the entire process! He represented me extremely well and sought the best possible outcome for me in my situation! I would have liked to seen this whole matter dropped completely...but wouldn't we all? Mr. Quinn was right from the beginning...he told be to trust him and not to lose sleep over this...although I did (and still am), I now understand why he advised that! He is a great lawyer and I would say unconventional, in that he will do exactly what is required...even if it means a house call, after-hours call, additional court motions and extra time to see the matter through with you. Whenever I called him, his return phone calls were prompt and to the point. When motions needed to be filed, generally they were all same day! Mr. Quinn is an excellent lawyer and if you wind up needing an OVI Specialist and have a professional job (or not even)...this is the man you want representing you! Thanks Mr. Quinn for everything!!!

high tier OVI reduced to reckless operation

I was arrested for an OVI on July 26th, 2015 and enlisted Pat for legal defense. The circumstances of my case were bleak: I was pulled over for driving the wrong way down a one way street, bombed the field sobriety tests, and blew a 0.192 at the station which put me in the high tier OVI category. W...ith all of this, the state had a rock solid case against me. The only things I had going for me was that this was the first time I’ve been arrested, otherwise have a clean record, and was cooperative with the arresting officer. I’m in a very junior position in a field in which this type of charge can have huge consequences. I was looking at future with limited upward career trajectory, embarrassing public disclosure to colleagues and superiors of a conviction, and potential in-patient alcohol treatment costing up to $30,000 just to stay in the field. After researching a number of lawyers in the Cleveland area, I called Pat’s office. I first talked with his staff and explained my situation. Within 20 minutes of my call, Pat called me from his cell phone and we discussed my options. After looking into a few other lawyers I decided to go with Pat based on his stellar record and reputation in OVI defense. Later that day, Pat drove to my house and we sat down and discussed the situation and my options. Pat was very upfront about the outlook for my case (read: not good!). He recommended that we take a proactive approach to deal with things head on. I enrolled in a Driver Intervention Program (DIP) and took a voluntary alcohol and drug abuse assessment before my pre-trial hearing. Needless to say, I was very apprehensive going into the hearing. Pat was able to use his knowledge and reputation in the field as leverage and got my charge reduced to reckless operation. I paid a $1,000 fine to the court at the hearing and within 20 days of being arrested the matter was completely resolved. I took 4 points on my license, but I now have my driving privileges back in full, no record of any alcohol related charges, no party plates, nothing! This was the best possible outcome for me and went well beyond what I thought was plausible given my circumstances. When the judge read his sentence he cited Pat’s prowess and reputation in the field as one of the primary reasons for this deal with the prosecutor. Throughout all of our interactions Pat was nothing but a straight shooter. He didn’t sugar coat anything, but treated me with respect and took the time to explain what was happening and how we were going to deal with it. He even took my calls (sometimes late at night) to personally answer questions I had about my case. If you or someone you know ever find yourself in the unwelcome circumstances of being charged with an OVI in the Cleveland area, hire this man to defend you! You won’t find a lawyer with more knowledge of how to beat an OVI charge or more respect from those on the other side of the bench. Hiring Pat was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Because of him I can now move on with my life without having to live down a poor decision that I will never make again.
