Fluent in German and French, Michelle has over 10 yearsâ€™ experience in international trade law, including both export and import law. Under the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Michelle currently serves on the President's Export Council Subcommittee for Export Administration (PECSEA), a senior-level advisory body to the U.S. Department of Commerce and, in particular, its Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). In addition, she serves as a federal advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Aerospace (ITAC-1). In 2010 and 2011, Michelle was named a "Rising Star" in International Law by Texas Monthly and Texas SuperLawyers Magazines. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
