DO NOT HIRE! He provides lowest effort

If I could give this lawyer 0 stars I would. I hired Michael b Sutch for a low bac dui case and he never met or called m prior to court. He came to court 10 min late and was not prepared. He thought w were waiting on blood bac when I actually did a breathalyzer. Then with my dmv hearing he didn’t ...not rebuttal or asked questions so I understood my requirement and didn’t not fight on my behalf. I honestly wish I would have represented myself rather than hire him for a low price.

DO. NOT. HIRE.

Absolute hack of a lawyer. Never returned calls. Was constantly late and once literally phoned in an appearance. He caused more stress and I paid for it. In more than one way. He’s a terrible attorney and not the man you want handling anything important in your life.

Traffic Ticket

Great Person with great heart, listened to my case so calmly and promised to help out. Payment was fair and paid in full upfront waiting for the outcomes and will update you guys soon how it goes. But overall, when I talked to him is looking to be a very good attorney, if one person for some reason h...as a bad experience that should not reflect bad on an attorney. Thank you Michale for helping Karimullah.

Rude / Forgetful / Unprofessional

Michael reached out to me on Legal match. This should have been a warning as it seems like attorneys who need work actively search these postings. I paid him a $3,000 retainer and, through his suggestion, entered into a flat fee agreement where he collected another $4,000. In hindsight he suggest...ed this as he saw the case as an easy way to make as much money as he could while doing no work. He appeared in court 4 total times including the sentencing. He was absent and literally phoned in 2 appearances because he had forgotten about the hearings. When he was present he was aloof, condescending and poorly dressed. On the day of sentencing he was late and had to text me to find out what courtroom we were in. It was the first time I learned of the DA’s offer leading me to believe it was the first and only time he had spoken to the DA. For $7,000 Michael failed to return phone calls and emails, was rude and seemingly never spoke to the DA until the day of the sentencing. He aged the case, ( guaranteeing his monthly flat fee ), and then took the first and only deal offered by the DA. I was afraid to question him as I was worried he would quit and leave me without representation after I had been paying him for months. He put in a very hard 8 hours of total work and this is being generous. It is my fault for trusting him and believing that he wouldn’t take advantage of a flat fee structure. He literally did nothing for me. If anything he added stress and trauma to an already horrific experience I have filed a complaint with the Colorado Bar and am hopeful I will recoup some money and he will be censored.
