Mike Fremont, San Diego's DUI Guy...

DUI #4 is a felony in California. It means the slap on the wrist days are over and a pretty hefty jail or prison sentence awaits you, if convicted. A criminal predicament like this may be one of the most expensive investments you make because it requires an attorney who will fight for your life... as if it was his own. Your choice of counsel will must be wise because it will determine your freedom, your peace of mind, your occupation and reputation to name a few. I was lucky to find a fighter to handle the 3 DUI's I was facing. I felt protected with my life in his hands and then he suddenly died. I searched the web for the toughest and most successful DUI attorney San Diego had to offer and hundreds of lawyers and firms popped up all claiming to be rated #1 by some magazine or winner of some local award for attorney of the year. This method was not going to work – evidently, San Diego has a tie and every DUI lawyer won first place. I found Mike Fremont through a friend of my deceased lawyer and he became my fighter. I watched him with a critical eye every step of the way. He had my life in his hands – I made poor legal decisions in the past with attorneys who did not care. I was not going to make a foolish decision again. The battle is now over and I would not be sitting here at my desk writing an AVVO review if we lost. The outcome for all 3 DUI’s plus the prior was one I can live with. I was sentenced to 5-years of informal probation, 120-days of electronic ankle monitoring and one multiple offender DUI class running all 3 DUI’s concurrently. My license is revoked for 6-months and no device is required for the car when I drive again. In closing, I want to share my first morning in court with Mike. It was interesting because he had 4 different clients in 4 separate courtrooms and was able to appear for each one without making anyone wait. That spoke volumes to me – his clients liked him and the court personnel all knew him. Thanks, Mike, for being a major part of my case. You are appreciated.

Inept And Far Behind The Times

Mr. Fremont represented me in a felony DUI case and I was terribly;y unhappy with his performance. He was never ready at any of my court hearings and his arrogance seemed to get in the way of any chance I had of having favorable outcome. I definitely would not use Mr. Fremont s services again nor wou...ld I recommend him.

Michael Fremont won my case and saved my license...and we never even met in person.

I live in Northern California and was in San Diego for an event. I was arrested for a DUI and given a temporary license. I was just in San Diego vacationing and didn't have time to run back and forth between Northern and Southern California preparing for the case and attending court hearings. I conta...cted Mr. Fremont and he made all the court appearances, kept me informed on the progress of the case and answered all my questions. He was able to get my DUI dismissed and the DMV did not suspend my license. We communicated by phone and email. I especially appreciated having our email communications available to keep track of the case. I haven’t needed the services of many attorneys, but this gentleman put me at ease and I was comfortable trusting him. Because of his representation I was able to continue working and living my life while my case progressed through the court system. I recommend Mr. Fremont to anyone charged with a DUI in San Diego!

Knowledgeable, Reliable, Dependable, and Excellent Stress Reliever!

While going through the stressful DUI process, it was real assuring for me to know that Michael took any of my calls or returned my calls as soon as he could regarding my serious concerns and keeping me informed of my status. I work very demanding and long hours. Consequently, it was also relievi...ng to me to have a dependable lawyer, such as Michael, to attend one of my two court dates without me present as well as attending the other with me. Just recently, I received a warrant for my immediate arrest and was ordered to turn myself in at the courthouse. I hadn't signed up for my DUI classes, however, I was still within my 90 day requirement before being seen as defiant. The court had me noted as being past my 90 days and ordered the arrest. I was frightened and wasn't sure how to deal with the situation. I had someone drive me to the courthouse and park near the building but I was too frightened to go in without speaking to someone from the courthouse first. I spoke with a court clerk and she said there would be a strong possibility I would be arrested upon entering and checking in. I then called and spoke to someone at the Public Attoreney's office for that district. He said, "Go into the courthouse and immediately look for someone with a tie, he will probably be an attorney, ask him for help." This was unsettleling so I called the Public Attorney's office for another district. The woman who answered stressed that I need to get in touch with the attorney who originally handled my case. I called Michael Fremont (I hadn't spoken with him for 5 monnths simply because there was no need.) He happened to be at the courthouse. He asked for my case number and within 30 minutes, had my warrant pulled and a newly established, later date documented for me to sign up for classes. I truly regret my poor gudgement in getting a DUI in the first place. With Michael Fremont's guidance and ongoing assistance, it put me in a better, more secure mind-set, inabling me to fous on learning from my mistake and living a more productive and healthier lifestyle.

The best DUI attorney out there

In the fall of 09 , i was stopped for suspicion of driving under the influence. After the field sobriety tests and blowing the breathalyzer, the officer concluded i was DUI. I was arrested and sent to San Diego Central jail. Weeks later, i went to court for arrainment. I knew i could NOT just plead g...uilty and ruin my career. I decided to talk with the public defender. The public defenders office took my case. BAD DECISION! The next court date, my public defender kept insisting to me to take " the slightly lesser charge" which was still a DUI. She pretty much told me " it is what it is..... You got a DUI and there is really NO defense for your case. I felt ruined. I knew that with this public defender, I was heading for a sure conviction. I was so upset, but felt like something had to be done. That night, i did some research and came across Michael's website. After looking at his attorney profile, which you can see for yourself, i knew he would be the best representation for my case. Mr. Fremont showed up with me in court to take over my case. I knew i had made a good choice when several other lawyers in the courthouse approached him and knew him well. That day, Mr. Fremont requested a time extension for him to carefully review my case and also set a trial date. A few weeks later, Mr. Fremont called me and told me about some discrepancies found in my case. This was good news. The next court date, during a Motion to Suppress Evidence hearing, Mr. Fremont unleashed his knowledge, aggressiveness, and professionalism. In front of two officers and the prosecutor, the judge granted us the Motion. As a result, the evidence against me was thrown out of court. I can still remember the angry prosecutor's face as he realized his case against me " went down the drain ". Next week Mr. Fremont calls me with great news. No need to go to trial. CASE DISMISSED.
