In August I was not only arrested for a DUI, but felony resisting arrest as well. The circumstances of my arrest were definitely unusual, but the ramifications on both my personal and professional life were extreme. The advice I was given prior to finding a lawyer was to make sure he/she was well respected and well known in the specific area (North County), that way the Judge's, DA's, etc., were all familiar with your attorney and more apt to work with them. Excellent, professional experience from first contacting him the day after my arrest, all the way through trial and reaching a verdict. The entire experience took just about 9 months and Mr. Fremont and his team kept me calm and informed with the latest information as my case moved on. I received a DUI in 2004 and hired Michael Fremont to represent me. During my case I decided to move back to Minnesota from California and was required to take DUI classes. Michael Fremont is the most "able", "aggressive" and "knowledgeable" attorney I have ever known or worked with. When I was arrested for a DUI in August of 2009 my life was turned upside down. I was humiliated and confused, feeling as if I'd entered a world ,about which, I knew nothing. I retaine...d another attorney to deal with the immediate legal and DMV problems hoping he would care enough to fight for my interests. I chose wrong and it became a communications nightmare.
