Hands down the best attorney for DUI/DWI

About 2 years ago I was arrested for a DUI, while driving on a suspended license, from a prior DUI. I contacted 5 other DUI attorneys until I finally retained Michael Fremont. From my very first meeting, he was optimistic and had a plan of attack with my case. I had a prior DUI that wasn't resolved ...correctly from my first attorney, I was driving on a suspended license, and I blew a .16. He didn't seem worried at all that I had a prior dui, and my license was suspended. The fact that he was so confident, helped to ease my mind. Michael was able to find a small loophole in paperwork filed by the DA, which ended up in a scheduling conflict with the arresting officer. This ended up throwing the officer's testimony out completely due to failure to appear. The DA requested a continuance, and dragged the case on for an additional 2 years!!! The case ended up having to be restarted, as the DA was granted their continuance. So we were back at square one.... In the 2 year span that my case was being reviewed, Michael constantly updated me on progress and stayed positive. He was always available to answer any questions I had. A few weeks ago we were finally able to sit in front of the DA and the judge, and I was able to watch Michael negotiate a tremendous plea bargain. He was able to talk the DA into pleading my case down to a wet wreckless. Instead of being convicted of a 2nd dui and facing possible jail time, I am only required to do a small number of community service days and attend the alcohol classes. When I processed my paperwork at the courthouse to arrange payments for my fines, I still remember the look on the clerks face when he said to me, "You were driving with a suspended license, above the legal limit..........and you were able to plea down to a wet wreckless?? You must have a hell of an attorney!" Michael Fremont saved my life, and my career. I want to personally thank you for all of your help. I highly recommend him for any DUI/DWI case.

3rd DUI; not a day in jail

I can't say enough good things about Michael Freemont. I was facing a mandatory sentence of 4-5 months for my third DUI offense in ten years. Freemont worked out a deal with the DA to let me serve the time in a rehab facility as opposed to jail. With the use of the SCRAM alcohol monitoring device mee...ting the requirement of the mandatory custody associated with a third offense. He postponed my court date several times until he could get it in front of a judge who was sympathetic to our situation, and in favor of rehabilitation as opposed to jail... He was very thorough. It was quite obvious that he enjoyed going to all lengths possible to get the best result for his client. When I was doing all my paperwork after the plea, I encountered two different women who worked for the court who were impressed with his ability to keep me out of custody on a third DUI. Additionally, they were complimentary of him in that he knew the law inside out, and that he was well respected in the District Attorney's office and amongst the judges. I couldn't reccomend Michael Freemont more... I loved his never quit attitude. If anyone is in a similar situation I would hire Freemont in a heartbeat. I was also quite surprised at how reasonable his fees were for what a great job he did. Nathan

BEST LAWYER I EVER HAD

Michael was on my case from minute one and kept me informed about each step during this lengthy process. His assistant is also very pleasant to deal with. He was referred to me by a former client I met in jail after my arrest who told me that he gets people off each time. I knew that these women know... and trusted Michael from day one! It was formidable watching Mr. Fremont argue in court. He is extremely intelligent, sharp, and to the point. He does not miss one beat. He leaves any competition in the dust. As predicted, my case got thrown out of court. I am a very thankful and free woman again. I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. Fremont.

Look no further!!

Mr. Fremont did an exencllent job handling my case. When first meeting with Mr. Fremont to discuss the details of my case, he made me feel at ease by being up front and totally honest about what to expect. He told me his plan of action for getting me the results that I needed and followed through to ...the "T". My BAC was very high and for a while I had lost hope of getting anything other than a DUI. With persistians, knowledge, and skill Michael was able to get me unbelieveble results. Another major plus is his staff was very helpful and friendly. They stayed well connected with me and kept me in the loop. They were also very flexible when it came to finances. I definitely recommend anyone with DUI issues to hire Mr. Fremont and his excellent staff.

Don't hire if your bac was low

IF your BAC was low dont waste your money. I wish he would have told me that but instead I paid 2,200 for the same results I would have had on my own. I hired him because I was most concerned about getting a set aside at the DMV hearing. He sounded so confident when I got my consultation and when I c...alled a month later about my DMV hearing he completely changed his story and tone. So I didn't get a set aside. I had a bac of .088 I was offered a wet reckless which they would have given me anyway. Ok so I hire and I don't even get the reduced DUI classes of 12 hrs I got the 30 hr class. My fine was $1050 and classes were 477. If I was told to save my money I could have paid my fine and done my classes and still have 500$ extra in my pocket. If I were to hire a lawyer again I would go with cole/Casey I talked to them first and I knew in my gut they could have got the job done. I wish someone would have wrote a review about a really low BAC and I Could have saved my money

Please read all reviews. Out of 49 reviews their are only three negative ones. I always explain to persons with low BAC's that they can usually get a wet without an attorney. However, if they want to fight the DUI and the DMV they need an attorney and must consider going to trial. This client choose not to go to trial. I gave this client a reduced fee to start, did the DMV hearing, filed and argued a motion to supress the evidence, walked her through the license suspension and she did not have to appear in court. At the end of the day it was her choice not to proceed any further. .
