I've never needed an attorney until recently. After my initial conversation I knew I was in good hands and peace of mind immediately started to set in as I hired him on the spot for a non DUI case. He communicated extremely promptly and I was always in the loop of next steps. As I write this review I... saved money with him, all charges were dropped, and he was an aggressive attorney in court that knew everyone around him and his experience shined through. Thank you for making one of the most stressful times in my life a challenging 6 weeks and nothing more.

My brother was arrested for a DUI a little over a year ago, and Mr.Fremont fought long and hard to continuously get my brother back into his DUI classes (for lack of attendance), always making sure we were up-to-date with all the court requirements in order for my brother to keep his license, and the... best part.. he finally got my brother off with just a wet and reckless! My brother is everyone's worst client, requiring so much extra work for Mr. Fremont and regardless, Mr. Fremont always had my brother's best interest and continued fighting! It's easy for attorneys to just take your money and not work hard for you, but no this one! When my brother just wanted to give up, Mr. Fremont really encouraged my brother to file an appeal, and good thing he did because he ended up getting my brother's charges AND fines lowered! Thank you Mr. Fremont!!!

Mr. Fremont helped me with two cases and the outcomes would not have been what they were if it weren't for him! First case was for a DUI and he got it down to a wet reckless (or something less), which was GREAT. No extra fines, didn't have to do a school or community service, didn't have to attend co...urt at all. A year later he helped me with a case that was a real crappy situation- I was arrested for resisting arrest with battery on a police officer. It was multiple charges with the possibility of fines/jail time/permanent record/etc. I originally used a public defender who could care less about my case so I spent the money (worth every penny!) for Fremont again. After reaching out to him on a weekend night, he immediately responded, asking questions about the situation and whatever information I had for him to review. The next day he already had a game plan and when the court date came time... well, whatever tactics he used worked because the arrest was ruled unlawful (which the public defender wasn't even close to getting for me) and the other charge (battery on police officer) he got down to an "infraction for disturbing the peace". And again, no extra fines, never needed to show my (shamed) face in court, nothing more to deal with. Hopefully I won't need to use him for anything like this again but if I do, I will feel totally confident that he will get the best possible outcome for me! He's quick and to the point, easy to talk to and available to your (sometimes annoying or anxious) needs, knows the law inside and out and makes you feel much safer (and better) about whatever stupid situation you got yourself into! I was facing a felony 5th dui. The DA initially wanted a prison term. Through discovery before our preliminary hearing Michael was able to uncover weaknesses in the case and exposed them pretrial to get the deal is was shooting for. I personally feel your always better off hiring a private attorney o...ver a public defender. If your facing a dui charge Mr Fremont is the one to call. He will most likely be able to resolve your case before it ever gets to trial. I hired him because of his Avvo results and am extremely happy I did. All the lawyers in the courthouse knew him and he seemed to be a mentor to a lot if them. Some other lawyers I spoke to on Avvo were rude, unprofessional and used scare tactics. Mr. Fremont did not and told me upfront if what I wanted was realistic and what to do prior to court dates. He was reasonably priced and always returned emails promptly. He isn't too detailed, but you just have to trust he knows what to do. I give him 5 stars. Call Mr. Fremont if your in need of a knowledgeable attorney that appears to be known by DA s for his determination and results driven methods.
