I was facing a felony 5th dui. The DA initially wanted a prison term. Through discovery before our preliminary hearing Michael was able to uncover weaknesses in the case and exposed them pretrial to get the deal is was shooting for. I personally feel your always better off hiring a private attorney o...ver a public defender. If your facing a dui charge Mr Fremont is the one to call. He will most likely be able to resolve your case before it ever gets to trial. I hired him because of his Avvo results and am extremely happy I did. All the lawyers in the courthouse knew him and he seemed to be a mentor to a lot if them. Some other lawyers I spoke to on Avvo were rude, unprofessional and used scare tactics. Mr. Fremont did not and told me upfront if what I wanted was realistic and what to do prior to court dates. He was reasonably priced and always returned emails promptly. He isn't too detailed, but you just have to trust he knows what to do. I give him 5 stars. Call Mr. Fremont if your in need of a knowledgeable attorney that appears to be known by DA s for his determination and results driven methods.

I found out about Michael Fremont through a search. I typed in something along the lines of "Best DUI attorney San Diego" Did a bit of research, read some reviews, and it seemed that Michael fit that profile. That google search got me exactly what I was looking for! My Situation: I made a wrong t...urn and ended up trying to turn in what just so happened to be a driveway of a military recruitment center. To make a long story short, this ended up with me getting a DUI on military grounds, which ended up having to go to the Federal Court. I was full of anxiety and have heard horror stories about how much a DUI can just make peopes lives a living hell for quite a while. Michael gave me confidence, told me what I might be facing, and told me what he might be able to help me with, which relieved my anxiety quite a bit. He was willing and able to work with me in my current situation, was very professional, did his best to go out of his way by going to the scene of my DUI, and taking pictures, and really strategized from every angle of my specific case. He ended up getting my charge brought down to a Wet Reckless, with much lower fines. I am so grateful for having Mike as an attorney, and not having a DUI on my record! I highly reccommend him. Heard about Michael Fremont from a friend. I felt lousy & overwhelmed about being arrested for DUI. So figured to hire Mike. Best decision I made regarding the arrest. I took the blood test 1.5 BAC, and without getting into details I looked guilty as sin. Yet, Mr. Fremont got the results to be suppre...ssed. You had to be in the court to believe it. Mike is really really good at what he does. Communication through out the case was A++. Also, I'd just like to add that some my friends were like, "Just go with the public defender and get it over with" "hiring an attorney is a waste of money" So glad I listened to that 1 friend who referred me to Mike and not my other friends. Mike is a great guy that is willing to help you and work around your schedule. I obtained a DUI 6 years ago that was dropped by Mr. Fremont. Now, 6 years later, I am going through a background investigation with the Los Angeles City Fire Department and I needed information on the case.
