Mr. Manikas represented me in two back-to-back DWI cases (and an associated traffic violation), refusal of a breathalyzer, and a non-compliance with ASAP Probation. He was easily accessible, engaging, knowledgeable, and takes his time to answer all of your questions accurately and thoroughly (even calls you directly instead of delegating to others regarding additional questions). His staff is friendly, efficient and they work expediently. Kyle's presence in the courtroom is commanding, confident, respectful and he is very well known in the Fairfax County court system. Payment flexibility was generous and understanding as well, understanding that I lost my job and ability to drive. Overall he achieved outstanding bargains (lesser charges) and nolle prosequi verdicts in all of my cases. Kyle Manikas represented me for a non-violent felony. The guidelines for my crime were 7 months-1.5 years in county jail. After a plea deal and strict instruction from Mr. Manikas on the options I had to shine a better light on my case, I was able to come out with probation instead of serving time. Kyle was very responsive and straightforward, responding to my initial message right away and explaining exactly what we could do together to help my reckless driving case. Against what looked like impossible odds, Kyle Manikas got my reckless driving ticket down to simple speeding. Having never been to court, and not knowing anything about the VA court system (being from out of state), or the VA traffic laws with respect to speeding/reckless driving (I will never speed again in VA) or hiring a lawyer, I selected Mr. Manikas based upon other reviews I read plus his proximity to the courthouse where my case was to be heard. The overall cost to me (his fees + fine + court fees) were still hundreds of dollars less than if I had gone with the higher priced firm. He was without question the correct choice for me and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends.
