I am from out of state and found myself in the unfortunate situation of being charged with speeding at 61 mph in a 45 mph zone which I thought was a 55 mph zone in the middle of the country. I was very close to just mailing in a guilty verdict until I found out that speeding in Alabama is a criminal offense as opposed to other states which don't treat it with the same penalizing severity. In my profession, I cannot afford to have a criminal record, so since it had been over 20 years since I had received a speeding citation, I decided to fight the charges as I am convinced the speed zone in the middle of the country on a divided highway of 45 mph is nothing more than a revenue generating speed trap. I found Joseph Kreps firm on the internet and liked the reviews that I read, so I contacted them to handle the case. I then discovered that all the positive reviews were indeed deserved. While the state of Alabama still received some revenue from me for court costs and I was subjected to an online safe driver course that didn't teach me anything I didn't already know, Kreps was able to get the charges dismissed and my record is still clean. Thank you Joseph Kreps, I'd recommend your firm to anyone who needs help with traffic violations of any kind.

I am a commercial driver who got a nasty 68 in a 45 zone ticket in that stupid speed trap on I-20 Interstate. I was worried that I would lose my license. Atty Kreps fought for me and had to appeal to a higher court. On the trial date, the state trooper showed up. He spoke with Atty Kreps, and left. I don't know what he said to him, but he got him to leave. I was found Not Guilty and the case was dismissed with no court costs. I cannot tell you how happy I am with Attorney Kreps.

I was cited for speeding in a construction zone with workers present. After Mr. Kreps conferred with the prosecuting attorney it was agreed that the citation would be dismissed if I attended driving school. Joseph Kreps not only took care of my case but took the time to keep me well informed of what I needed to do to provide him with the information he needed to get the citation dismissed. He is also the only attorney I've ever dealt with that seems to truly understand the idea of customer service. I would highly recommend him to ANYONE !

I was traveling thru Alabama and received a speeding ticket around 6am on a weekend in a small town where the speed limit went from 55 down to 35 with absolutely no warning in the dark around a curve. I hit the brakes immediately but there was a police officer waiting right there. It was certainly some kind of speed trap. Since I lived out of state, I did not have a reasonable way to fight this ticket. I contacted multiple firms to represent me and ended up choosing Kreps. I dealt with them entirely over the phone, never needing to travel to Alabama which is about 600 miles from my home. They handled my entire case without me ever having to be present. Since I have never had any prior problems in Alabama, I was allowed to simply pay a fine and take an online driver safety class. This prevented me from receiving any points on my license in Alabama or my home state. I was very pleased with the service, the professionalism of the staff, their knowledge of the law and the outcome of my case. I confidently recommend this firm based on all phases of the experience I had during my case.

I unfortunately received a DUI because of poor judgement..what could have been a bad outcome for me and my family..turned out much better than I ever dreamed. Joseph sat with me and my husband and explained everything that was about to happen at the hearing, and told me what he would try to do to help my outcome. He took the time to answer each and every question and made sure we understood everything that was about to happen.
When the day was over...I received only minor penalties and avoided anything severe. Having worked with other attorneys in the past...I can honestly say Joseph showed more concern about my case and went above and beyond taking care of everything. The other attorneys do not even compare to the professionalism Joseph provided.

My only DUI I ever had, so i spent the money to gt a great team behind me and that is what I got from Kreps. They were professional and very experienced to help me on all my concerns and questions. They kept me informed of what I had to accomplish in order to acheive the desired result. They were always there. Even 2 years after my case was over they still assisted me when I had a question regarding a future employment oppertunity and where to find the necessary paperwork to prove the outcome of my case. If I ever need someone like this again, hopefully I won't ( this was a eye opener for me), I would not hesitate to call them. Joseph and his team were worth every penny and more. I still thank them today.

During a trip to see family in FL, I was stopped just outside of Mobile, AL by a younger sheriff's deputy with a chip on his shoulder. My wife and I were picked out of a string of 5-6 cars to be pulled over for a traffic stop and just happened to be the only car with out of state tags. After receiving a traffic citation for speeding over 20+mph while in a work zone I retained the services of the Kreps Law Firm. I felt the violation was completely unwarranted and that I had been chosen out of spite/ease of persecution because I was driving an out of state car, as neither my wife or I saw any indication that the speed limit has been reduced and, again, we were traveling in a group of cars that were all at the same speed.
The Kreps Law Firm was able to handle all the in-state issues including not requiring me to drive 550+ miles one way for the court appearance to dispute the ticket. The citation was deferred and I was able to dismiss the ticket with just the court costs. I was given six months of "probation" where I was not able to get a ticket in the state for those six months. No problem, as I have avoided the entire state at every opportunity since my amazing experience with the shining example of the Barney's that guard the streets from raucous interlopers just traveling to visit family.
Kreps' Firm was very quick to act, promptly handled any issues as they arose, and the key item for me was making sure I wasn't forced to revisit the state, taking time from work and money for travel expenses. When I called with a question, if the person I spoke with didn't have the answer, I would receive a call as soon as they found it. I also found it very comforting that all my correspondence by phone was followed up by an email confirmation of what had been discussed, and outlined the next steps the firm would be taking as well as what was expected of me.
The whole experience with Kreps Law Firm was about as pleasant as I would imagine this situation could be. I do not enjoy being forced into situations like the one described above, but I felt confident in the job that was done by the law firm to negate the charges and handle my case expeditiously and professionally.

In 2008 I got a speeding ticket in a small town in Alabama. I am from Arkansas but was driving a big truck at the time. The speed limit dropped suddenly and there sat an officer and gave me a ticket that would have been bad on my record. I went online and found Kreps Law firm and gave them a call. After talking to them I felt confident that they could help me at least get the ticket dropped to a lesser fine. We handled everything by email and phone and every time I talked to them they were very helpful and knowledgeable about my case and what I should do. I wound up having to go to Alabama to court per judges order but my ticket did get knocked down to like a 10 over but it was worth it not to have that ugly ticket plastered on my record. Also I might add that Kreps Law firm let me pay out their fee which was very helpful to me. I would definitely use them again if I ever have the need for an attorney in that part of Alabama.
