Many thanks to the Leonick Law team for providing exceptional legal services on the Real Estate transaction of a home we inherited from our parents. Having this being the first home we ever sold Jim took the time to first explain the process, listened to our questions and concerns then provided advi...se. We had many obstacles along the way. Jim always had the answers and solutions. The first buyer cancelled last minute after after the sales contract was written and agreed upon, then an unknown "phantom" lien from a loan our parents had in the 1980's showed up on the homes title which we knew had to be paid off but the bank never recorded that with the county records. We had no paperwork to prove it was paid and a letter of satisfaction was needed. The title company wanted $100,000 placed in an escrow to cover 2.5 times the original loan amount. The Leonick Law team successfully pursued the old banks successor to produce a letter of satisfaction that the title company accepted allowing us to close on the home. I would say that effort was truly extraordinary. The typical legal fees to file such a case would have been many thousands and months to clear.
