This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Suspended means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

I went to Jacqueline Harounian at a time when I was at my most vulnerable, getting a divorce with 4 children. She made me sign an agreement that other lawyers that I saw after her have deemed unethical. Because of her I'm still having problems with my ex, 5 years after the divorce. I heard she finally got suspended and have to say, it's about time!!!

Horrible experience. Transfer the case to her worker named Jessica who is unprofessional, disrespectful. I paid $2500 for representing me less then a month without any court appearance. Being a single mom with a small child on my hand that needed help of the attorney during a terrible time in my life. I was surprised how supposedly a caring attorney treats there clients with totally opposite behavior.

Promised to take on my case herself. Easy open/close case she said.
a true nightmare. She handed me off to one of her new associates, two times.
I was billed for everything they discussed, without being there. (2x)
She charged me an astronomical amount of money and my settlement was a mess.
A horrible experience.
I had to go back to court for a modification.
A divorce that should cost $2500.00 (no marital assets) cost $40k.
