One of my family members had one of their cases vacated and contacted GWP Law to get assistance with the next steps. During the call, the staff member/attorney informed them that they could not begin the process because the charges were still showing on their record and advised them that it would be ...better for them to keep their records and not apply for residency. My family member provided the approved and signed grant motion from the judge showing that the case had been vacated. However, they were still informed that they did not qualify for assistance. We are seeking clarification because the court has already approved and signed the motion vacating the case, and we would like to understand why they are still being considered ineligible.
