I was referred to Attorney Ganci by another attorney who does not practice in San Diego County. When I first called him, he was in the middle of something and said he would call me back. At this point in my "journey," I almost wasn't even expecting him to return my call. I simply had reached a point where nothing seemed to be working in my favor. My call to him was regarding an issue that ultimately had been on-going for over 2 years. My situation was pretty bad. I was in an accident and I was accused of failing the field sobriety and breath tests, with witnesses and body camera film as evidence. Eric's expertise in breath tests was critical to my case. He persuaded the DMV to set aside (drop) my license suspension, and after several court meetings with prosecutors, got my charges reduced to a dry reckless, despite all the other evidence against me. You're not going to find a lawyer better qualified in DUI drug and breath testing than Eric. In this area alone it would make sense to speak with Eric about your results and the circumstances of your case. Eric impressed me with his knowledge of the law and his approach to my defense. I called Eric the morning after I got out of jail on a DUI arrest. The circumstances around the arrest were alarming to me and there were significant implications for my life--personal and professional--if I were to have a DUI on my record, so I enlisted Eric, and I am so thankful I did. I found Eric through this website and Yelp with high ratings for his honesty and competency, and I really valued how responsive he was both immediately (answered his phone right away, listened to my story, gave me sound advice before I even hired him as my lawyer) and as the case moved forward. I could always reach him by phone or by email, and he did a great job of walking me through what I could expect to happen based on the details of my case and his extensive knowledge of the prosecution of DUI cases in Southern California. Eric honestly evaluated the details of my case and met with me and my friend (a witness) and advised me to proceed to trial based on the nature of my case. His emails are detailed and well-written and he was always very prepared and knew the details of my case very well. From the day following my arrest to the DMV hearing to my arraignment to court (finally), Eric was always prepared and communicative. He also let me know what the possible outcomes could be and how we could best prepare to win our case, such as reviewing the actual circumstances of the evening (contrary to what the prosecution through), using an expert witness to explain to the jury the way that alcohol is absorbed and affects the body, and just preparing myself and my witness. Trial was nerve-wracking and I was relieved to have Eric there to prepare me and reassure me. He ran trial like the skilled attorney I needed--from jury selection to closing arguments. Even when I was most concerned that I would be wrongfully convicted of a crime I did not commit, Eric kept me sane, staying calm, cool, and collected. We hired Eric shortly after our son was arrested for DUI. He was recommended to us highly by a lawyer friend, and we were very satisfied with the representation he provided. At the outset, he explained very clearly the strengths and weaknesses of our case and gave a very realistic assessment of what he might be able to achieve for us. We did not feel any pressure to accept his recommendations at any time. He told us what information we needed to provide him as well as what appearances our son would have to make. He shared with us his findings as the case progressed. The process was very complicated — we don’t know how we could have managed to navigate all the appearances without competent professional help. In the end, he successfully negotiated a plea deal that won us concessions. We are very satisfied.

Getting a DUI is by far the most stressful and heart wrenching ordeal one can go through. Before i consulted with Eric, i was facing an underage DUI charge with a BAC level two times the legal limit along with a suggested speeding enhancement that would carry a mandatory jail sentence of 60 days minimum if convicted. I was referred to Eric by a close family member, and was told of how great he was at his craft. After a short a phone consultation i was convinced Eric was the one i needed on my side! Eric Ganci is the BEST option if you are looking for an attorney to DEFEND you after your DUI/WET and Reckless charges. Eric specializes in DUI cases and is the ONLY attorney in San Diego that is trained in DUI blood testing and because of that he is the person you want defending you in court! Eric was able to get my temporary license extended slightly more than the DMV had offered so that he could obtain more information about my BAC level that could help my case and so i could still go to work and school during this ordeal which right off of the bat freed up much of my stress. During my entire case Eric had constant communication with me and was always extremely informative about the defenses we were going to use and what we could realistically expect to be dropped from the court. After my first arraignment i was facing: 60 day jail sentence (speeding enhancement), having to put an IID (Breathalyzer) in my vehicle for 1 year, and large amounts of public service paired with longer 6 month DUI class because of the enhancement and my BAC. In the end Eric was able to get the enhancement dropped, settle for a standard DUI charge, (rather than a DUI charge for blowing over .08 which if plead to could affect you drastically if god forbid you received another DUI in a different state) , 3 days of public service (which was unheard of, most people i hear have the amount in double digits around 14) , along with the standard first time offender dui course and license suspension! I can't tell you happy I am to have been able to have the privilege of having Eric on my side. Eric is extremely great and supportive throughout the entire process. He is in constant contact with you and is an encyclopedia of information for anything relating to a DUI! His vast knowledge will help your case and provide you with valuable information that can help you know your rights if you are facing these charges. In conclusion Eric is the BEST in his field, and i will be contacting him again when the time comes around to expunge this charge because he is simply the best and most attentive to detail attorney for your case!

Getting a DUI is one of the absolute scariest things I've ever experienced in my life. I have no criminal history what so ever, a well respected career and a family that has been by my side from the very start. When a friend referred me to Eric I was so worried because I knew I stood to loose everything. I was extremely depressed it feels like a very low time in your life!!! But.... Eric keeps constant contact with you, he's very attentive, he responded back to me within hours every time!!!
