Mr. Kelleher is a Florida native who grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He relocated to Orlando in 2000 to obtain his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. Mr. Kelleher graduated from U.C.F. as a Gouizetta Coca-Cola Foundation Scholar on a full scholarship. He majored in Legal Studies and holds minors in both Business Administration and Criminal Justice.
Prior to law school, Mr. Kelleher worked for King & Spalding LLP in the firm’s Atlanta office. While there he worked alongside some of the country’s most prominent attorneys. Mr. Kelleher worked on the business litigation team assisting on complex commercial matters and Department of Justice investigations.
Mr. Kelleher later returned to Florida and obtained his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee. While in law school, Mr. Kelleher earned honors in Criminal Law and Complex Litigation. He was active in the F.S.U. Student Bar Association and has been a member of the Orange County Bar Association since 2005. Mr. Kelleher completed a clinical program with the City of Orlando Attorney’s office which provided the foundation for his civil litigation practice.
After graduating, he began his legal career with a boutique law firm in Tampa focusing on first-party property insurance claims. Mr. Kelleher was then appointed to work as an Assistant State Attorney for the 9th Judicial Circuit of Florida. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Kelleher tried felony and misdemeanor cases to jury verdict in addition to numerous bench trials in both Orange & Osceola counties.
Mr. Kelleher also practiced with a national defense firm with a focus on medical malpractice and general liability issues.
