What’s my best option after getting my vehicle hit n ran and don’t have insurance ,: My vehicle was hit n ran legally parked at my friends house , I found the driver and vehicle about an hour later an then called the police but the other driver had already reported to police she got hit n ran and to her insurance so they are believing her side of the story .
Sofia’s answer: Your best option would be to locate a video recording of the collision. Perhaps a resident or business in the area has security cameras that show the collision. Otherwise, a forensic expert could likely determine the direction and speed of the cars, however that will cost you quite a bit.
IN WASHINGTON STATE CAN MY HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY STILL DO SUBROGATION IF I HAVENT BEEN MADE WHOLE?: My health insurance company, Regence has a subrogation claim against me for a car accident I was involved in. My car accident has been settled for 150k. My attorney is taking 50K and Regence wants 60K. Since I had to settle with the car insurance companies and didnt recieve what i should have been fully entitled to should I have to pay Regence back out of my settlement? Im not sure that i hired the best attorney and have been questioning whats happening with my case.
Sofia’s answer: Short answer: it depends, but probably you do. Ask your attorney to explain to you clearly what they have done on your behalf regarding Regence and for a good explanation why they can't do any better. At least then you'll know what's going on.
I've been offered a settlement, but don't know weather to accept or not. ?: Was rear ended. Vehicle totaled. Forced to buy another vehicle and at being a single mother its hard. Was under chiropractic care but seemed not to do any good. Temporary relief and back to aches and pains. The insurance company made this offer and my lawyer said that its probably the best were going to get which was 30k. I receive 10k and left with a car payment and having to work two jobs now to survive. I would like to know if this is all a victim gets thru this misery with aches and pains for life. They explained that I only have soft injuries , but they don't feel soft to me.
