Traffic Violation Question?: Hi. My husband has been driving my car and passed through the Sepulveda Blvd at Orange Line Busway red light in Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks border, so I got a ticket with his face on it. There was an "Affidavit of Non-Liability" form included in the violation letter I received, which I was going to fill out, but I lost it and now don't know if I can simply download that form online somewhere to send it to the Traffic Violations Bureau indicated on the ticket. I would really appreciate it if someone could please lead me to that form, because I am a mom to a newborn, stressed the past week with no sleep, and I am now getting more stressed having wasted so much time online trying to find it in vain! I figured perhaps traffic violation attorneys know exactly where to download that form for Los Angeles area. Please advise :(

Can I contest a traffic ticket (infraction) I paid off two weeks ago.: I got a basic speeding ticket (nothing too serious) and I paid it off in Santa Ana two weeks ago. I'm now thinking about contesting because I was only sic miles over the limit and I just wanted to get this over with. I paid and selected the traffic school option. Is there anyway to now contest this ticket in court? I know - I'm an idiot.
Andrew’s answer: You can file a motion to set aside a bail forfeiture and set the matter for trial. An attorney should do this. Not sure what you are going to accomplish. If the officer does not show at the trial your case would be dismissed.
What will happen if my citation isn’t on record with the court, when I show up for court date?: I was pulled over back at the end of May by CHP and gave me citation, gave me to appear in court on August 25th. I have been looking for the citation online but nothing appears. Put in the citation number and date of birth and nothing. Put in DL number and nothing as well. My court date is approaching soon. Just want to know what will happen. I will go to my court date, I’m just little confuse with everything.
Andrew’s answer: It can take a while for the citation to hit the system. Check with the clerk of the court you have to appear in.
