Can my car insurance pay for hospital bills: hi there ! well 1 week ago I was involved in a accident , I got off of work and was on my way to my girlfriends work to pick her up , I went down a road I always go through and while I was driving I saw a jackrabbit and quickly swerved to avoid it . I lost control of my vechicle and crashed into the median and hit a tree (impact was on drivers side ) my airbags went off and the tree actually toppled over . my car is totaled because of a bent frame and I have full coverage on my insurance . bodily is 15.000/30.000 and got collission / comprehensive / property insurance . when they insurance called me the next day he made a comment saying I'm not covered for medical bills , cause my neck hurts and my right foot feels sprained on the top , I'm curious if maybe what he said is true

Peter’s answer: Check you car insurance declaration page to see if you have elected "med-pay". If you do, you should be covered. If you do not, your health insurance may cover your injuries.

Car accident lawsuit. I Live in Eastvale, CA. Auto accident in Irvine, CA. Where is the proper court to file my lawsuit?: I am just wondering specifically where to file as I am forced to file and represent myself in this matter. It is NOT small claims. It is unlimited civil.

Peter’s answer: I am in agreement with my colleagues. You can file it in the venue where the accident occurred or in the venue where the defendant lives. You would benefit with an attorney representing you, but at the very least, I would recommend consulting with an attorney.
