Canadian employer can send Canadian citizen to US on TN visa?: Canadian employer has US office (subsidiery) and some employees in US. Now they want to hire Canadian citizen and send him to US on TN visa. All other eligibility requirements are met. Is it possible?
Nathalie’s answer: Yes, this is very possible and the TN application can be presented at a POE for processing. However, now, with the pandemic, there may be limitations on which POE may process these applications.
My Employment based adjustment of status (I-485) was transferred to field office, does it mean my background check completed?: My finger print was taken at last week of August. I got my EAD and AP approved after couple of weeks of finger print. About 3 months ago they transferred my case to local field office. Does it mean background check is completed?
Nathalie’s answer: It may also mean that the local office may schedule an interview. However, because of the pandemic, we have received approvals for employment-based adjustment of status applications without interviews.
