I-130 interview:
My wife has filed i-130 and will get approve in few days , i was told that my wife needs to send all the original documents to NVC , i wanted to know when we will get the original documents back ?
and i will be appearing for interview once NVC schedules my interview , so what all documents i need to carry to at interview
request some to help me please
Kwao’s answer: Your question is unclear. I am not sure if you are in the US but I assume you are planning on processing the rest of your case at an American Embassy or Consulate in your native country. You will be scheduled for an interview at the American embassy or consulate in your native country. You will be told what, if any, to bring for the interview. The original documents submitted through the NVC will be returned to you when you appear for the anticipated interview.
Will my asylum get rejected because i recently moved to California?: I am in F1 status. I was going to school in Texas and i still maintain their i20. I dont have $3000 to transfer my school to California but I already moved myself to California. I filed for asylum already and my address in the asylum application says that I live in California. I don't know if the immigration officer is going to believe me if I say "i moved to Cali" and will he deny my asylum saying that I came to Cali only to apply for asylum?
Kwao’s answer: Your asylum application will not be denied because you moved to California. Remember, the asylum application (I-589) form requires that you provide a current address. You therefore did the right thing in listing your current address which happens to be in California.
My husband was arrest on a crimal mischief charge and endangering the welfare of a child for a domestic dispute and was taken to: county jail on 500 bail i tried to bail him out and they said immigration has a warrant for him will he be deported? we are legally married have 3 yr old triplets one who is very sick and he entered the country legally unadilla ny
Kwao’s answer: Immigration will initiate removal (deportation) proceedings against him. You do not state his current Immigration status. Whatever it is, I suggest you consult with a competent immigration attorney.
