If “notice of no distribution” in chap 7 has already being posted, can an amendment still be submitted?: I need to submit an amendment to fix my marital status to divorced. Lawyer made an error in original papers. If i add an amendment to change the marital status now that the “notice of no distribution” has already being posted, is it going to be an issue?

Your attorney should check with the creditor to determine the status of the titles. If you paid for the collateral in your Chapter 13, then generally the provision would be that you do receive the titles following discharge. Hopefully, it is just a matter of reaching the right individual at the loan company that you owed and you can get the titles within a few weeks.

When can i file again for Bankruptcy Ch 7?:
I filed Ch 13 in February 2011.
I later converted to Chapter 7 in November 2011 and received discharge in 2013.

David’s answer: It must be 8 years from filing date to filing date to get a discharge in a new chapter 7 case. So, you could file now if you qualify, as the filing date of the converted case is February 2011. You do not use the conversion date. See a bankruptcy lawyer near you to be sure of the dates.
