I have a TX drivers license received a speeding ticket in Florida (76 on 55) a couple weeks ago.: One of the options in the ticket is to sign up for a FL Drivers Improvements course within the 30 day mark and complete within 60 days. Can someone please confirm that doing so will not result in a conviction or moving violation being reported to Texas?
Vincent’s answer: That is probably best suited to be an answer for the DMV of whatever county you reside in Texas. While enrolling in and completing traffic school in Florida will allow you to avoid a conviction of the offense, Texas may not view it the same way. Again, check with your DMV or a Texas attorney that handles traffic related matters.
I totaled my car and bank says I have 30 days to pay the difference (lack of gap=-13k) is that legal when loan matures in 2029?: I totaled my car and bank says I have 30 days to pay the difference (lack of gap=-13k) is that legal when loan matures in 2029?
Vincent’s answer: I would suggest that you review the terms of the loan. The fine print will likely speak to what the lender's rights are in the event the collateral (your car) is destroyed.
Do I need a attorney?: I was arrested for refusing a field sobriety test and charged with a DUI. I was not driving the vehicle but the officer said I was.
Vincent’s answer: Yes, you absolutely need an attorney. There are many defenses available to you.
