Tom Roach and his team are very knowledgeable with immigration laws. They helped me move through F1-OPT status to H1B. Then, when I got married to an American citizen, they helped me with my Grreencard process. Both times I hired Tom Roach were successes. Tom and his team are very helpful. They answered any questions and concerns I had and patiently clarified anything that I didn't understand. They also had solutions to help me out with when there were some glitches on my life plans (i.e. my work permit's end date coming up prior to my planned wedding date, moving to another state in the midst of obtaining my Greencard, etc.). His office kept us up to speed with appointments, deadlines, and what documents to prepare or bring to the appointments. If I need help with other immigration issues in the future, I will hire Tom again, even if I am in another state. He knows his stuff and is very reliable.

Thomas was the person who we first met to help me in getting my I485 done. He was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and patient with us through the whole process. I had a very complex casedating back to 1976 when I came to this country as a child. Tom took the time to do the research and get answers to all the questions we had. Tom and everyone in his office, including his son, who is also a lawyer in his firm, and his legal assistants were very helpful in every step of the way towards my getting my permanent residence status. I initially began with a different immigration lawyer, who actually did everything right, but I immediately noticed a difference when I transferred to Tom and his team. I went with Tom Roach and his team a long journey from R-1 application to a Green Card. It was initial R-1 application, than extension (with additional request for evidence), than it was I-360 (change of status) application (again request for evidence), than Green Card application I-485. Every time I knew that Tom Roach and his team are doing the best job. I could see how professional they are and how they pay attention to every detail. My Green Card application was a little problematic, because my son is handicapped and it is probability that he can become a "public charge". Unfortunately in our case it became an issue since we were immigrating through employment. But again Tom and his associates knew what to do. And my application was approved. I also appreciate that Tom allowed me to make monthly payments so it wouldn't be a burden for our family budget. It was a great experience and great lawyer who provides great service in every aspect.

When you look for an immigration attorney you hope you'll find one that makes you feel comfortable, knows their business and tells it to you straight and honestly. You also look for the same qualities in the staff. That's exactly what we got with Tom and Maria. The process was explained clearly, costs were known, pitfalls were identified and the timeline for each phase was realistically portrayed. Our case is done and sooner than expected and we are thankful. While we got some Lucky breaks we think, we don't think they would have happened if the paperwork prepared by Tom and Maria had not been picture perfect.
