Tim Note Rocks!

We’ve hired Tim on various occasions for help with DUI and other offenses we believed to be in error. Tim has successfully fought for us each time. He’s very professional, yet approachable and realistic. I wouldn’t consider any other attorney when serious help is required. Should Tim decide to pursue... any judgeships in his future, we will be honored to give our full support. Thank you, Tim, you’re the best!

Timothy S Note, Attorney

Mr. Note was extremely helpful getting me through all the ins and outs of Washington State laws and the court system. I am a 1st time offender and I had no clue as to what was going to happen. Mr. Note was very responsive answering emails as well as other communication. I would not hesitate in reco...mmending him to others.

I'm not just a very satisfied client. I'm also an Attorney

This is both a well deserved review of Tim's excellent legal representation, expertise, and impeccable prompt responsiveness, and an endorsement from an attorney and colleague. After 12 years of practicing criminal law I went into the public sector the past 6 years. My husband and I have guardiansh...ip of our nephew who is currently a high school senior. He was in the foster care system for a number of years and was adopted by a family member. He was not thriving in his environment and he moved in with our family his Junior year. He is a respectful, kind and thoughtful young man but has only been living with us for the past 15 months. In his past experience, doing something wrong was met with harsh punishment. He got a speeding ticket over Thanksgiving break and was too afraid to tell us because he thought we would be angry. He planned on paying the ticket when he saved enough money from his after school job. He played varsity football and their team made it to the playoffs. Given the practice and game schedule he had not been working much and had to work on getting back on the schedule after the season ended. It was time to renew our car insurance and our agent informed us that he had a speeding ticket and his rate was going up over $500 for the next 6 month renewal. Our nephew did not read the language on the citation that he had 15 days to respond. In addition, his car is registered in his adoptive parents name and address and he had not changed his address on his driver's license. We found out that due to his lack of responding within 15 days, the infraction had been found committed. Spokane District Court sent a letter, which was not shared with us, to his adoptive parents notifying them payment was due or would it would be sent to collections and the Dept of License notified that his driver's license would be suspended if payment was not made. Paying the citation was the easy part. The factor he had not understood was that the $1000+ annual increase in insurance premiums would impact him over the next several years while he will be trying to get through college. I highly respect Tim as a colleague and he has earned his reputation as one the best criminal defense attorneys in Spokane. I have exclusively referred anyone that asks for a criminal defense attorney to his office. After a very lengthy discussion with our nephew about the importance of letting us know when he makes mistakes so we can provide guidance and counsel, and reassuring him that although me may be disappointed in his choices we will always be there to support him, I reached out to Tim. We connected on a Friday afternoon to discuss the matter and the time sensitivity and I sent him a scanned copy of the citation via email. Tim went right to work the very next Monday and got the Prosecuting Attorney and the Court to grant an order vacating the citation, allowing our nephew the opportunity to take the Alive at 25 traffic school, and setting it for the contested docket where he can show proof of participation in exchange for a dismissal. Tim's proactive and immediate action prevented the citation from being sent to collections which had already been scheduled for the same week. This would have made it much more difficult and would have included navigating through a license suspension. Our nephew has learned a valuable lesson of trusting people that care for him and learning that even if we are disappointed at his choices, we will help him navigate a solution. Prior to this, my experience with Tim was as a highly regarded and respected colleague who gets results for his clients. As a client, I can say with confidence that there isn't a case too small that Tim won't handle as if it's the most important case he has in his office. Tim is simply an excellent lawyer who practices law with heart and passion. Whether a client is facing a serious felony or a minor infraction, he can be counted on to fight for the best outcome.
