I am an attorney and husband of one of Mr. Mathey's clients. I worked closely with Mr. Mathey on my wife's case, which was favorably settled last year. After taking the case, during and up to settlement, Mr. Mathey updated me and my wife regularly on developments, and even met with us at a park on a Saturday following our kids' baseball games, nearly two hours from his home. Mr. Mathey always listened closely whenever we met and asked great questions, questions about who we are, what we were trying to accomplish, and the state of the evidence. Mr. Mathey formulated a wise litigation/discovery plan and executed it well, putting the opposing party in a bad position from which to negotiate. He dealt expertly with opposing counsel at all times and negotiated a good deal for my wife, for which I am grateful. Most importantly, Mr. Mathey genuinely cares about me and my wife, and has kept in contact even though we are no longer in the area. For professional reasons I cannot publicly sign this review, but my wife is a real client of Mr. Mathey, and I am a Washington state attorney, which is to say I know what good lawyering is supposed to look like. Mr. Mathey is a skilled attorney, a genuinely good person, and a trustworthy professional who will go to great lengths to help his clients.

I contacted Mr. Mathey by email and he responded a couple hours later. After speaking, I hired him to look over a work contract. He understood my concern, and also pointed out several things I missed. He helped me improve the contract to meet my terms. He knows his stuff, he'sbeen in the business for almost two decades I think. His fee was reasonable compared to others in Wenatchee, and the work he did was best in class. I'd hire him again, and I recommend him from my experience.

I hired Jamie Mathey to look over a severance agreement when I was laid off from a large company based in Seattle. He tripled my severance offer. I was extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend him to anyone for employment law issues.
At first, I wasn't sure how to chose a great employment attorney, but after I read reviews online, Jamie seemed to have a lot of satisfied clients. When we met to consult, I was very impressed with his extensive knowledge of Washington employment law (from both the employee and employer perspective), high level of professionalism, and honesty and clarity in explaining my options. He had also done a lot of prep work on my specific situation before we met, so he was fully prepared to discuss my options. He didn't waste any of my time, and I was pleased and surprised with that level of customer service.
I moved forward with hiring him for several highly time-sensitive services. He was very responsive and helped me meet my deadlines. Even though I was preoccupied with other things after losing my job, his results-oriented style kept the energy up during the counter offer phase.
I was able to walk away with 3x what was originally offered to me. I credit this entirely to Jamie's knowledge, hard work, and dedication to his clientele. Again, I highly recommend Jamie Mathey's services to anyone. In my opinion, he's the best employment lawyer in Wenatchee.

Jamie represented me in a breach of contract and employment litigation matter that was highly contentious. From the get go, he was approachable, candid and honest. He took the time to review our situation and contracts thoroughly, guided me through negotiations, and help us regain control. His competency kept me empowered and offered peace of mind in the process. From my experience, I can tell Jamie is very knowledgeable about business law with an Impeccable handle on potential issues that could arise and creative when advising alternative avenues.
He is also articulate and one of the best writers I have come across. If you are uncertain about what matters in Business Law, strong writing and advocacy skills are essential. Out of all the attorneys I've used, I could not be more pleased with Jamie Mathey.

I recently started a very unique business involving food scientists, consultants and a referral service. There were not any examples out there on how to write up the type of contract and NDA's that I needed -which were very specific for my unique business model. Jamie was able to utilize his skills as a lawyer and create documentation that fit my needs. He wrote it in a way that was clear for both me and my clients to understand. He was fast and efficient and spent quality time with me on the phone to make sure all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend Jamie for all your legal needs!
