Experienced and Professional Family Law Attorney

I retained Elizabeth's Firm in 2015 to help with a fairly complex divorce and custody dispute lasting over a year and a half and can easily give her 5 stars. I selected her firm after meeting with several other attorneys from Portland to Longview. I found her firm had great reviews, more than fair ...pricing, personable staff, and were immediately trustworthy. I initially utilized one of her attorneys on staff who was mentored by Elizabeth and did an AMAZING job going above and beyond in my Temporary Parenting Plan process. Soon after the TPP process, the attorney on staff I'd been using unexpectedly left family law for other legal endeavors. In this absence Elizabeth, who already had a full case load, personally took on my case herself to see me through to the end with a great settlement as the outcome. Her excellent assistant Leslie also did a lot behind the scenes and played a key role in my case resolution. Overall, in working with Elizabeth personally I found her to have excellent communication, her family law experience was apparent, her local experience in Clark County was also apparent, she was extremely assertive and proactive, and always had a positive demeanor throughout my stressful divorce process. I also wanted to specifically point out that her pricing was more than reasonable, she worked WITH me to help reduce costs versus finding ways to add costs or nickel and dime me, and was very clear about expected costs and various options based on these. Based on my personal experience I would definitely recommend her firm if you are faced with divorce, child custody issues, or other legal matters where an attorney may be needed now or in the future.

Never go it alone.

I met Elizabeth 1 yr ago. My divorce was ugly to say the least. From initial consultation to settlement day Liz was my Guardian Angel. I felt secure knowing that she was on my side in my custody and divorce case. We had a series of victories from our first hearing and a few setbacks. I ran short of f...unds and went one month without her. Huge mistake. I was bullied and cornered by opposing counsel from the moment she left my side. Upon bringing her back, the opposition sang an entirely different tune. In the end, I came out very well on the custody front and the financial settlement was more than I could have hoped for. Divorce is hard on a man. I was a stay at home dad for 7 years. I felt alone and lost from the moment I chose to file. Elizabeth is a kind, respectful professional that opposing counsels fear in the courtroom. She is a warrior for her clients. She and her staff communicate effectively and keep things simple in explanation. I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to have her represent me in my court proceedings. I honestly believe that my case would have went very badly with any other attorney. If you find yourself reading this review, you know you need an attorney who will go to war for you. Elizabeth is that attorney. She has proven to me time and again that she is up to the task of giving her clients the best representation money can provide. I hope this helps you decide on the right represntation for your legal matters. Do not allow your spouse to take advantage and hurt you. People change in divorce. The things you thought they would never be capable of come out. The stress is a heavy burden. Protect yourself. Choose an attorney you can trust and move forward with your life. Divorce requires a tough litigator. Elizabeth is the warrior you need. I cannot express my gratitude and respect for her. God bless you Elizabeth and thank you for being my warrior. The attorney will use from now on

I am single dad that has one full time child and another child I have time with every other weekend. I have struggled with custody issues for over a decade now. Elisabeth was very straight forward and represented me well. She managed to accomplish in three months what 4 other lawyers couldn’t do in... ten years. I couldn’t have asked for a lawyer who gets the job done and works well with the understanding of your wants and needs as a parent. I will use her in the future for sure.

Review

I worked with Elizabeth and she followed through with everything she pledged to do. Elizabeth was able to address the legal issues with the opposing party, and did so with an effective approach. Though we did not see eye to eye on some issues, Elizabeth was able to communicate what she needed me to d...o, enabling a better outcome than I would have otherwise assumed.

Very Professional with good results

Elizabeth Christy represented me in my divorce. The divorce was a pretty challenging one but she and her assistant, Amber, handled it well. I was extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone with a family law matter. Her confidence and professionalism made me feel... that I was in good hands. She has a great reputation in the community, and I can see why. Elizabeth is friendly and really cares about you and your case. I always felt that she had my best interests in mind and would do everything she could to get you the best result possible. Some attorneys are in it for the money, but I believe Elizabeth wants the best for you. Divorce is never easy, but if you have an awesome attorney representing you, it makes it a little less painful.
