Disclaimer: It is unclear how Avvo calculates its lawyer ratings, as such I cannot vouch for Avvo ratings and I do not recommend relying upon Avvo ratings when searching for an attorney.
I have practiced in the workers' compensation field for over 13 years, first on the defense side and now, since 2006, on the side of the worker. I love what I do and I always strive to have prompt, informative and engaging discussions with my clients. The L&I process can be very complex and frustrating. My goal is to alleviate the stress many injured workers experience after an injury. With each client, I discuss issues such as treatment, time loss, loss of earning power, vocational services, permanent partial disability or total disability, depending on the circumstances.
Outside of work, I devote my time to my two small children, both of whom make me laugh on a daily basis. I hope to instill the same sense of public service in them that my parents instilled in me.

Samuel Kuzma, Workers compensation Attorney on May 26, 2015
Relationship: Friend
I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Jill for more than 20 years. She has worked very hard to become the efficient, effective, successful, and zealous advocate she is today. She is smart, pragmatic, hard-working, and truly cares about her clients. Perhaps most importantly she recognizes the genuinely important and valuable things in life. I could not endorse her more strongly.

I strongly endorse this lawyer. She is well-versed in her field, compassionate about her work, and resolute in her actions. Last year, I asked Jill to speak at a conference I chaired because I knew the audience would benefit from her experience and expertise. She did not disappoint.

I worked with Jill when we both worked at the same workers' compensation defense firm. I have now worked with her in SW Washington, helping each other out with our respective clients. Jill is a strong, competent, and knowledgeable attorney who can handle any Washington workers compensation claim.
