I have only endorsed a few lawyers on Avvo. Not because I have a low estimation of my peers, but because the whole concept just strikes me as the new high tech version of that "good old boys" cronyism that we love to decry. When I endorse a lawyer I don't talk to them and there is certainly no quid pro quo. I will endorse Chris as a peer because she is deserving and for no other reason. She is a skillful, fierce and tireless advocate, but a punctilious professional at the same time. She cares about her clients, which is in many ways the only litmus test we need apply, but she also cares a lot about her profession and tries to model a profile that smashes the stereotypes and caricatures our culture imposes on the legal profession. She earns my unequivocal endorsement.
