One of a kind! Competent, Honest, & overall the BEST out there!

Bret really is one of a kind! He actually cares more about his clients than money. I hired Bret for a DVP case and he went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. During my initial conversation with Bret, he listened, and showed compassion about my situation. He understood my situation and was... very clear on explaining things to me. Bret is competent, honest, determined, passionate, and very well-versed in the law. There was never a time I asked questions that Bret did not answer or explain to me to make sure I understand. It can be hard to find lawyers who truly care about their clients and not about getting paid. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. When I needed help or have questions after hours, it was never a problem for Bret.. he was there! My case settled and I got the results I wanted and I thank Bret for being there and helping me throughout the whole process. I would totally recommend Bret to anyone in need of legal representation. If you want a lawyer that brings results and not beat around the bush, Bret is your guy! :-)

Great advice! Refused to take my money!

I had a question on trying to get information on post conviction time recalculation and Mr. Woody was up front and honest with me about not being that seasoned with post convictions. He gave great advice and even provided resources! In my experience in this process Mr. Woody went above and beyond.

Honest & Effective

When I contacted Bret Woody- I was in complete crisis. Police were coming to my place of residence for a charge I knew nothing about. Bret went above and beyond defending me from day 1. Even before hiring him, He helped prevent me from being violently and illegally taken into custody. The allegations... made were serious and DV enhanced. Bret understood my anxiety and took the time to meet up locally to hear my side of the case. I appreciated how upfront he was about how he could help me. Turns out I had 2 cases pending against me. He reassured my confidence by sharing knowledge of his experience defending cases like mine. It was authentic and not rehearsed. If you are honest with him, and do your part- Bret WILL go to battle for you and ask the hard questions to uncover the facts for your case. When it comes to needing realistic legal defense, Bret is a solid human being and not just a cog in the court machine. I have no idea where my cases wouldve ended up if I hadn't chosen Bret Woody. If you get a chance to see this buddy- Thank you for believing in my innocence and helping me get all alleged criminal charges dismissed.

A free man

Bret was the first attorney that has told me exactly how it was, he took the time to set up a zoom meeting with me witch we spoke about my case a prior charges for over 45 minutes. One thing Bret told me and sold me on him, his straight forward thoughts, telling me he will go to court fight my charge... and if I was going to be booked him and I were going to be cell mates at least for 24 hours. Who wouldn't want an attorney who ×ill say that and mean it.. If you want someone who goes above and beyond for his clients Bret Woody is your best bet! I don't plan on anymore trouble, but if it finds me Mr. Woody will always be my fist phone call.

Always impressed

Every time I've had him represent me, he's always done what he said he'd do and more. I truly believe that he cares and is in this business for the right reasons.
