About me

Seattle attorney Jessica M. Erickson is a compassionate and determined trial lawyer, dedicated to helping businesses and individuals who have been injured or victimized by others. She focuses her practice in the area of complex litigation, representing, among others, victims of childhood sexual abuse against entities such as the Catholic Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the State of Washington, and the Boy Scouts of America. In 2012, she worked on a team that obtained an $8 million jury verdict against the Catholic Church, which is believed to be the largest verdict of its kind in Washington history.

After graduating with honors from Central Washington University with a double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies and Law & Justice, and living abroad for a handful of years, Jes attended Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. While at Seattle University, Jes was involved in Law Review, serving as Executive Editor for Lead Articles.

Jes is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and Washington Women Lawyers, and is actively involved in her West Seattle community. In 2012, Jes received the Distinguished Alumni Award for the Department of Philosophy at Central Washington University, and has since sat on the Advisory Board for CWU’s College of Arts and Humanities. In her pro bono practice, Jes represents low-income clients in domestic cases where children are at risk as a result of domestic violence, child abuse, or substance abuse.
