Selective about taking action, not selective about taking money

I had a long-term domestic relationship that was ending. I needed representation about distribution of assets (community property/common law marriage ) .... Deborah assured me that she could do the job and that my case was strong enough. She ensured she'd take care of me. If she had acted with due di...ligence or paid attention to details, I could have kept my condo- She took my evidence, quite a bit of very self explanatory documentation... and did absolutely noting with it. There were many options to at least extend the time frame. When I ended up in court for a unlawful detainer, I lost simply because she did nothing she was supposed to. When I explained the situation in court... THE EX PARTE' COMMISSIONER TOLD ME TO FILE A COMPLAINT ABOUT HER AND PRINTED OUT THE FORM FOR ME!! She used my entire $4000 retainer on phone calls and emails responses (which were too late to be beneficial) and due to her inaction and lack of interest about my case, I lost a property I legally was entitled to. Deborah may have the ability to successfully represent her clients BUT SHE DOESN'T HANDLE ALL CASES THE SAME WAY. Be careful who you give your money to.

We take all feedback, both positive or negative, very seriously, as it helps us to perfect our law practice, communicate better with our clients, clarify misunderstandings, and improve. A large part of legal practice and time spent by an attorney involves gathering information on the telephone, through correspondence, through emails, etc. If a client identifies him or herself and asks about time and charges incurred, an explanation is always given to clarify the time that was incurred on the client's case; but nothing can be explained until the client asks for clarification. This firm strives to act with diligence, honesty and integrity in all that we do; deadlines are respected, followed, and met.

Misleading and untimely

I hired for help with the other attorney associated with my relationship ending as well as any legal recourse I could be entitled. We met at her Tacoma office and she claimed I had a case. I was not so sure as we discussed the qualifications the law requires for my situation. She reassured me at ...that time she believed I had a case. I paid the retainer in full and stressed that it was all the money I had saved to help me with the break uo. I also provided documents at the time of retaining her services. I again stressed there was serious deadlines associated with the break up already in place and the importance of why I needed representation. This attorney did not meet any of the deadlines. She did not inform me of a proposal from other attorney until almost two months after she had received it. She later changed her position stating she now believed I didn't have a case after missing deadlines and used up the $4000 retainer. If I had not retained this attorney I would have had money to handle the end results of the missed deadlines. I ended up with no money, no home, and no legal representation.
