I hired for help with the other attorney associated with my relationship ending as well as any legal recourse I could be entitled. We met at her Tacoma office and she claimed I had a case. I was not so sure as we discussed the qualifications the law requires for my situation. She reassured me at ...that time she believed I had a case. I paid the retainer in full and stressed that it was all the money I had saved to help me with the break uo. I also provided documents at the time of retaining her services. I again stressed there was serious deadlines associated with the break up already in place and the importance of why I needed representation. This attorney did not meet any of the deadlines. She did not inform me of a proposal from other attorney until almost two months after she had received it. She later changed her position stating she now believed I didn't have a case after missing deadlines and used up the $4000 retainer. If I had not retained this attorney I would have had money to handle the end results of the missed deadlines. I ended up with no money, no home, and no legal representation.

Ms. Josephson has been on retainer for several years. She represented me twice, most current in 2015. She is thorough, attentive, and precise in final paperwork; which leaves no undesired surprises in the future. She addresses the obvious issues (modified parenting plan) and then is also attentive... to the mundane yet important issues (such as who claims taxes). She is a strong networker which keeps her well informed for trial; she sought to protect my child organizing a mountain of information from social workers, GALs, counselors, and CPS. Her strength was in trial, she was ready, strong, and calm. In trail she referenced facts that were current and some several years old, I sat there impressed. Through the lengthy ordeal, she was kind and communicative. Her warmth is testimony that she is invested in her chosen career.

This woman is so compassionate and wonderful. I came to her with a more then difficult case regarding custody and two countries. She understood the complexity of my case and was not afraid of the battle ahead like so many other lawyers I'd spoken to were. She has been nothing but a relief to me. She ...eases my mind every time we speak, and makes me feel like I am on the right path. She has handled this with competency and much dignity. A real go getter.
