I hired Steve based on multiple recommendations. I'd never been arrested, so I was originally lost in most of the legal proceedings. Steve made sure I was always informed, and took my best interests at heart. He got my original charge changed, and was even able to get the court dates changed to suit my needs. The entire time he was professional, and even offered me advice that was outside the original reason I hired him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, especially if you are military.

Mr. Krupa is an expert and professional with a credited reputation for the past 22 years as an attorney practicing law since 2004. Immediately when you first explain your plea and provide articulate documentation to preserve an assessment he is not afraid to explicitly tell you the truth with care and sound decision of what the most probable outcome will be. His free consultation will quickly make it evident if you have a fighting chance.
As an officer, I always believe that we are involved and part of our community and families. As a leader, I am engaged and part of making decision not only to improve the organization but also to energize and enhance everyone, so I thought.
In November 2013 I contacted the unit commander and initiated a commander’s inquiry in hopes that rumors and false pretense would be eliminated also to formally inform the commander that an Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) was being mentally, physically and sexually abused by her husband. After informing the chain of command and exhausting all resources to include chaplains and the SHARP advocates months afterwards this inquiry turned into an informal and later a formal investigation against me, another officer and the NCO for inappropriate relationship.
After I was informed of said allegations which was not proved or relevant to my character and forthcoming I consulted with an Army legal consul and to his belief he felt strongly confident that I would not have any repercussion for I did the correct steps to mitigate and protect the victim however not only was my character being attacked so did my family who throughout the entire motion of this investigation was 100% supportive.
In the military, it is assumed to be guilty just by assumption and someone’s judgement, in a civilian court system it is beyond reasonable doubt. That is a huge contrast from one another. Needless to say, the fist general officer in the chain of command decide to give the other officer and me a letter of reprimand and felt that the NCO was given a slap in the wrist. Despite all the efforts to prove my innocence it went unnoticed by an ill advice legal team.
On January 2015 I was notified for elimination process by human resources command to show cause board for retention on Active Duty. This was initiated because of the letter of reprimand that was place on my permeant record. At the time, I only have 17years of service and no fighting chance to get this falsely document of my records. This is when I consulted with Steven Krupa for his legal consul and advice. Steve immediately gave me hope and the will to fight again for my career, my character, my family and retainability to continue active duty service. He proposed multiple courses of action and developed a well thought out plan to engage Department of the Army Human Resources, key leaders, freedom information act and receive confirmation letters or character letters from individuals that knew me during the time of conflict and of those that worked with me in the present time. To Steve’s disbelief he quickly concluded that I was wrongfully accused as everyone who was involved with the investigation and everyone who currently worked with me at the time spoke very highly of me as a person, character, morals and ethics.
Steve’s approach, engagements and professional experience has without a doubt allowed me to successfully continue in Active duty beyond my 20-year mark. My family, my career and I are forever indebted to his service. He presented all letters of character and carefully explained the circumstances to my first General Officer in my chain of command which supported his findings and with no hesitation and gained full support from the Commanding General. On July 2015, we received confirmation that the elimination process was terminated and no show for cause board will be executed, additionally I can remain on Active Duty.
