Russell Atkatsh

Russell Atkatsh received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology from Florida State University in 1998. He attended Gonzaga University School of Law on a Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Achievement and graduated with his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2002.

While at Gonzaga University he was a semi-finalist in the Linden Cup Appellate Advocacy Competition, the Associate Editor for the Journal of International Law, a Student Bar Association Representative and advocated for low-income clients at the Gonzaga Center for Law & Justice.

In his twenty years of practice, Russell has represented thousands of clients in over 60 courts in Washington State. His practice focuses primarily on family law matters. However, he also has extensive experience in criminal law and bankruptcy.

Russell was drawn to the practice of family law due to his focus on helping clients through pragmatic solutions, ability to appear in court and interact with clients, and capacity to draw on knowledge learned in other areas of practice to assist clients.

Russell is licensed to practice in the State of Washington and in the US District Court for the Western & Eastern Districts of Washington.
