I worked in the same military defense office with Ms. Stewart at Fort Hood, Texas. She was without a doubt the most experienced, polished, and dedicated attorney in our office. When I was assigned to a case where I was convinced my client was innocent of the allegations of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, I told the client that if he wanted the best possible representation, then we needed to ask for Ms. Stewart (then on active duty) to be on the case. He agreed and Ms. Stewart joined our team. Ms. Stewart put together a strategic and surgically precise defense that resulted in a quick acquittal of all charges.
