I made the mistake of not showing up to court. I was told as long as my fines are paid that I would not have to show up in court. I sent my lawyers two screen shots vie email of me paying the 150 dollar fine. They told me that the court clerk didn't verify that I paid the amount for my court case.... Regardless if I showed them the online receipt they should have clarified if I had paid off the case number I specifically hired them for my other fine of 116 was for a m.i.p of alcohol that I took the initiative to pull out of collections to pay off. Still Beckwith Law should have known the supposed amount for the case I had hired them for and after showing them my receipts of paying that price they should have questioned the court clerk more thoroughly.. like hey his case is only 150 dollars... our client already paid that... whats this extra 116 dollars. Now I have a warrant for my arrest and instead of Beckwith Law doing their due diligence like I should have done mine and showed up to court but the judge told me that if I pay that fine and notify my lawyers that I did then I dont have to show up to court. Its not my fault the firm Beckwith law didn't verify what case # the court clerk was talking about with the amount of 116 dollars they were referring too.
