I hired David in 2017. I was charged with a DUI - my second in my lifetime. I was very embarrassed and ashamed but David and his staff made no judgments and were very kind. I met him within a day of the event and he was very honest - but was optimistic that the case could improve. He also gave me... some material and a book that was very helpful. However, I am very thorough and met with 4 other attorneys. David was by far (no kidding, by far) the most knowledgeable and his fees were affordable - 3 of the other 4 attorneys were more expensive. Fees are important but experience and knowledgeable is more important. After two weeks of research I hired David. We met regularly during the case and after 5 months I felt a little discouraged - the State wanted me to plead guilty and serve alot of jail. A week before our final court date David called me and said the new offer he negotiated was a reduction to Reckless Driving and 0 jail. I cried on the phone. Mr. Jolly represented me about 7 years ago for a DUI and got that reduced with no jail. He did an excellent job. Unfortunately I got another DUI and went back to David. I wasn't sure if I needed a lawyer - I mean, I knew it wouldn't be wise if I didn't but I wasn't sure if I could justify the cost. I can now tell you, it is a must. The prosecuting attorney gave us a first offer that was so outrageous that it put the fear of god in me. If I didn't have an attorney... I would have been taken advantage of in an extreme way. David told me to trust him and he talked with the Supervisor and not only improved the outcome (reduction) but the reduction also included no more jail. He found a legal defense that he used to improve my case. The moral - get a lawyer. The justice system is not fair and is not looking out for your best interests. More specifically, please hire David as it's obvious the Judges and prosecutors respect him.
