She didn't interview any of my witnesses or prepare me for court. She seemed annoyed when I wanted to discuss trial strategy, evidence, and issues at the end of the day. From a strategy standpoint she was completely unprepared and unfamiliar with the details of the case. There were major well-establ...ished facts of the case and evidence provided that she was unaware of and did not submit/address. From a courtroom standpoint she consistently allowed the opposing parties to testify to hearsay without objection and allowed questionable exhibits into evidence without any objection.

Hired Laura in 2016/2017 for help with my divorce/parenting plan and another woman in her firm who did not show up for our court date. Now, needing Laura in court to represent me and my case THREE YEARS LATER, we went to court yesterday and lost only because she did not present any of the documents o...r information that have been shared with her over the past few years. Personal reference letters, text messages and emails, With countless evidence of abuse and neglect and contempt from my ex husband, with a failure to present in court, I lost. Now over $75,000 wasted, I am still in the same position and extremely upset and disappointed. Even disregarding all of that, the communication was terrible, phone calls not returned, text messages etc. And her personal life trumped her professional work in many instances leaving me to basically fend for myself. I will not ever recommend this attorney or her firm to anyone with a serious case. Put your money elsewhere.

Hired attorney Laura Groves in September 2019..By January, there was nothing done towards resolving my case.( only filing for divorce). The communication was slow, I was charged for my own emails, when trying to get it touch with Ms Groves.I felt like helping her to help me- neither professional nor... reliable. Fired her on 01/23.20 BUT still not getting, it is 02/18/20, documents and unused funds that need to be sent to my new attorney.Calls are not returned, emails are not responded........need to look for help with Washington state bar association. Very disappointed, hopefully will help potential victims! S.K

We fell upon a hard time and my husband needed his child support modified as we were getting no where with dcs we contacted Laura to help us we payed her over 3 months ago and she still has done nothing she won't even return our phone calls and we have gone down to the office and she is convientintly... never there , we are feeling scammed at this point we just want to take our money else where
