About me

Dainen is a community association lawyer, focused on creating clear and timely solutions for condominium and homeowner associations. He provides advice and counsel in a wide range of general counsel, enforcement, and collections services. Dainen's practice focuses primarily on assessment collection and related litigation, including custodial receiverships, lien foreclosure, and post-judgment execution.

Dainen's past legal experience includes resolving consumer debt. He successfully guided thousands of individuals and families through Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and handled select debt defense and foreclosure defense matters. Washington Super Lawyers Magazine selected him to its "Rising Stars" list in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, a selective honor reserved for the top 2.5% of lawyers in the state of Washington.

Dainen is an experienced bar association leader, and is serving as 2016 President of the Asian Bar Association of Washington. His volunteer activities include service as past President of the Washington Young Lawyers Division. Dainen is also active in the American Bar Association and is the 2015-2016 Chair-Elect of the Self-Insurers & Risk Managers Committee of the 30,000-member Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS).

Outside of work and his volunteer and community service, Dainen enjoys travel, spending time with family, and weather permitting, outdoors activities including hiking, running, and camping.
