After researching on the internet, I found and decided to meet with Nadine. I was seen quickly and we discussed my case which was actually two of the same charges in different jurisdictions. Nadine was very informative and spelled out what could happen, what things I could do to help my case in the... time before my court date, and what she could do if those things happened. I took her advise and my charges and fines were drastically reduced as she said they would be. I was more than happy with my overall expierience with Nadine and would recommend her

Nadine is a nice person and is generally knowledgeable about the areas in which she practices. That's about the only nice thing I can say about her. I had a protection order case filed against me and despite the fact I had had a similar situation thrown out just a few months early and there was virtu...ally no new evidence, the outcome was very different. I suggested a variety of legal strategies to improve our position prior to the hearing, but Nadine refused to entertain them. She was committed to simply using the same approach she always used and if it didn't work, so be it. When the hearing occurred the very things I told her would happen did in fact happen. We were forced to negotiate a deal with opposing counsel that resulted in a very poor outcome. If she had simply listened to me (her client) the situation would have likely been very different. I would also point out that Nadine's connection with the judge was very poor. Opposing counsel was on a first name basis with the judge, but the judge didn't even pronounce Nadine's last night right. I know its a bit unfair, but in my experience (which I have had a lot more of than I would have ever liked) you don't want an attorney representing you that doesn't have a rapport with the judge prior to the hearing. I would not recommend Nadine Bertman.
