Todd R. DeVallance has over 14 years of experience handling high profile and complex family law matters. Todd is one of the few divorce attorneys in Washington State with a LL.M. in Taxation and truly qualified to handle high asset and complex cases. As a military veteran, Todd is well versed in military policies and procedures and offers a free one hour consultation to all active duty and retired military personnel.
Todd served over eight years in the U.S. Navy as an Intelligence Specialist and Imagery Analyst. Todd is an Operation Desert Storm veteran and recipient of the Joint Service Achievement Medal for his service during special operations. While assigned to the Joint Intelligence Center in Pearl Harbor Hawaii, Todd received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Pre-Law (magna cum laude), from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, Todd received his Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. Todd earned his post-graduate LL.M degree in Taxation from University of Washington School of Law.
For the past 14 years, Todd’s practice has focused primarily on family law, which has included defense of family related criminal cases. Todd enjoys aggressively negotiating resolutions, as well as litigating disputes at trial. With a LL.M. in Taxation, Todd is able to handle high asset dissolutions and complex family law matters. His practice focuses on complex family law matters, which include: high asset divorces; cases involving business owners, partners, and shareholders; division of tax deferred accounts; representation of active duty and retired military personnel; drafting of wills and trusts; and preparing prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Todd is also available to assist clients in reaching amicable resolutions to parenting plan matters through collaboration and mediation.
